The Wasatch Gem Society is a non-profit club focused on earth sciences like geology, mineralogy and paleontology. Our group holds monthly meetings, rock hounding expeditions, and an annual rock show. Our members enjoy social events like pot-lucks, an annual steak-fry and holiday party and visitors are always welcome! Our organization holds memberships with the following societies:

- Rocky Mountain Federation of Mineralogical Societies
- Utah Federation of Mineralogical Societies
